been telling people that they will finish when they finish and there will be more then 250 ep's if they have to ....especially since they shortened the ep length ...perhaps it may have been 250 if they stayed at 20 min every ep but i doubt it... hopefully these last 7 ep's re as good as they have been since the 20 min. ep's been back

With the covid situation they had to change the number of episodes left and added a movie, it wasnt enough, pity they continued to drag the series with fillers and that long war, but Tencent didnt change the number of episodes on their streaming page, so I can only go by what it's official streaming side says - total of 263 episodes, from what the various media news are saying it "should" be it, but anything can go with the studio, since it is now known for not only changing the stories of donghuas but also changing the number of episodes

Just like Swallowed Star where they planned to have 52 episodes this season but extended it by 7 more episodes without any notice at all, but at least this time they decide to announce that the season will end in 7 episode time

The studio is just a tad too greedy picking up so many projects while being understaffed, but we will know if it truly will end in 7 weeks time since Soul Land 2 "should" take over Soul Land's Saturday's timeslot

idk tencent is a multi billion dollar holding company and should never be understaffed.....i checked them out after seeing a bunch of j-anime that said tencent and they are the same.... think they just buy up a bunch of studios amongst other companies and own wechat..... they are def in the top 10 companies in china if not the world.... but it seems that if its animated tencent has something to do with it and im pretty sure this is another reason for seeing the same characters rehashed in many of the 5 min shows..... i didnt know they were as big as they are

Tencent is pretty big, they even own shares in Blizzard Activision, about 4.89% and 40% in Epic games, they are social media platforms, they are everywhere..... but it doesnt mean they have a hands on in every single studio or subsidiary, or minority shareholdings, it doesnt happen in big companies like this, they only look at the profit revenue aspect

Owning shares in a studio doesnt mean they own it outright or have majority controlling stakes, otherwise if you think about it, Tencent would have hired more staff and placed a huge amount of resources into making Soul Land and we wouldnt have the problem of short duration back then

Tencent likes to buy shares so they have some form of control, whether they have majority or minority control over the board of directors, this is why when Genshin Impact was so successful, Tencent decided to buy Mihoyo outright or have a majority stake in the company, but Mihiyo rejected their offer, which to this day Tencent is still seething

yeah def true.... is that really the reason for the short soul land ep's???? seems like their understaff predicament was a result from them working on soul land 2 prematurely i would say.... or is the timing just a coincidence

I think tang San believes that as Tang Chen who himself cultivated to a level 99 soul master couldn't complete Asura god trial he didn't take chances. Plus Seagod has saved him and helped him many times. He can't betray Seagod.

The eye in the sword is good imo because Asura is a demon god so it should look like a demon sword.

If you read wiki it shows that he is the Sea God and the Asura God. That means, that he will 100% inherit the Asura god position too.

Actually theoretically and even in case of tang San a soul master can't hold power of 2 gods together in his body becaus the power is too tyrannical. Plus Seagod and Asura god powers are even though inclined to justice but in different paths. One is warm and comfortable while the other is cold and bloodthirsty. You would know why tang San can hold dual god position as said by other replies it you read the last 3-4 chapter of novel

This is also she can't do it her grandpa sacrifices himself for her not that she sacrificed anyone. She was spoon feeded by her grandpa.

Well the angel god is quite helpless tbh. Only people with angel martial soul get the inheritance and Qian renxue even with a god martial soul is very talented but she wasted her talent while disguised as Xue qinghe.
